Newton Moore SHS Bunbury

Named after Sir Newton James Moore, Premier of Western Australia (1906-1910), the school was officially opened 21st October 1966 by the Hon E. H. M. Lewis M.L.A., the then Minister for Education. In the years since, the school has developed strong traditions, both academic and sporting. |
Newton Moore SHS has been actively involved in the South West Marine Debris Project, with students assisting in previous years to clean up Contos Beach in the Capes region.

During September, 2010, students from Year 10 at Newton Moore Senior High School in Bunbury joined Anita Kelly for a presentation and beach clean up at local Turkey Point.
