With the help of Nina Smith and Wally Smith, Tangaroa Blue Ocean Care Society has been able to create a Marine Debris Education Kit for primary and high schools. The Kit has been aligned with the Western Australian school curriculum but is able to be modified to align with other states as well.

The Kit looks at the issue of Marine Debris, its impacts on our marine environment and ways that we can proactively reduce the amount of marine debris in our local areas. It also addresses Plastic Resin Pellets and general beach clean ups.

The Keep Australia Beautiful Council WA is currently producing the kit in CD-Rom format which will be able to be ordered by teachers and schools for use.
